From Air Force Veteran to Advanced Wound Care: Randall Haupt’s Journey of Dedication

Randall Haupt, Air Force veteran and Executive Vice President of Strategic Growth Initiatives at Restore First Health, began his journey toward healthcare leadership on military bases. Growing up as a “military brat” immersed him early in a culture of service and teamwork, shaping a career trajectory that would later influence his role at Restore First Health, a leader in advanced mobile wound care and care coordination.

Randall’s decision to enlist in the Air Force came in his senior year of high school, during the First Gulf War—a conflict in which his father also served. College wasn’t yet in his plans, but the military offered direction and purpose, setting this future veteran on a path to make a difference. Eager to find a role that involved flying, Randall’s recruiter introduced him to the position of flight medic. The role blended flight duties with lifesaving care, placing Randall in the critical position of transporting patients in need of emergency care. Within his four years of service, he achieved the rank of Senior Airman, E-4, dedicating himself to a role that would shape his future in healthcare.

As a flight medic, Randall found profound satisfaction in helping patients during some of their most vulnerable moments. This experience not only built his confidence but also clarified his calling in healthcare and patient care. By the time this Air Force veteran transitioned out of military service, he knew healthcare would be his lifelong career.

Today, as Executive Vice President at Restore First Health, Randall applies the skills and principles he developed as a veteran—including discipline, accountability, and a team-focused approach. These values are essential in his work with advanced wound care management and strategic healthcare growth initiatives. His background as a flight medic refined his emotional intelligence and compassion, which now play an instrumental role in guiding Restore First Health’s mission to provide patient-centered care in the home setting.

At Restore First Health, Randall’s focus on care coordination and seamless collaboration with healthcare providers, families, and support teams drives the organization’s high standards in mobile wound care. Restore First Health is committed to improving outcomes for patients with chronic wounds, diabetic ulcers, venous leg ulcers, and other complex wound types, offering expert evaluation, advanced wound care technology, and specialized therapies directly in patients’ homes.

Randall Haupt’s journey, from Air Force veteran to advanced wound care leader, is a testament to the values of service, resilience, and compassion. As he continues to lead Restore First Health’s growth in the advanced mobile wound care field, he remains dedicated to delivering outstanding care, improving patients’ quality of life, and setting a new standard in at-home wound management and healthcare solutions.
