Houston Texans Now Have At-Home Access to Advanced Wound Care with Expansion of Restore First Health Program

Jersey Village, TX – Restore First Health (RFH) increases access to care with first Texas location, allowing patients and families to receive high level wound in care in the comfort of their homes. Houston marks the 13 th location that Restore First Health is deploying advanced wound care practitioners from, treating patients in the entire Houston region within 2 hours of Jersey Village/Cypress, TX.

Restore First Health is a mobile advanced wound care program that treats patients with complex and chronic wounds at the bedside. Partnering with home health agencies, mobile providers, health systems, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation programs and more, patients will receive succinct care coordination and expert wound care that doesn’t exist in the region. The program started its roots in 2019 in Atlanta, GA and since then expanded to hundreds of communities across the United States.

“Houston is a hub of unbelievable healthcare providers – from Houston Methodist, to Memorial and MD Anderson, innovation is leading the region,” said John Fish, CEO of Restore First Health. “The problem is, not everyone can mobilize to get to these clinics and specialists. Our mobile wound care program is here to partner, and help patients get the high level of care they deserve in a community that suffers from chronic illness.”

“A provider like Restore First Health, who is truly seeking to better our community with new approaches to medicine, makes us proud to welcome them into our Chamber, and our community,” said Leslie Martone, President of the Cy-Fair Chamber of Commerce.

Wound specialists use mobile technology, the latest in bedside techniques, and innovative products to heal chronic wounds. They do this in conjunction with home health, and often other community providers who are looking to wrap care around patients with chronic illnesses.

“We are here to become the easy button in the communities we touch through our extensive care coordination, communication, and collaborative approaches,” said Mr. Fish. “And we aren’t stopping here as we have plans in the next 18 months to expand our Texas footprint. We are changing mobile healthcare access across the US and are thrilled to begin this next journey here in Houston.”
