At Restore First Health, our mission extends far beyond the walls of healthcare.

Healing happens not just at the bedside — but in the communities where our patients live, eat, and find support.

Last week, our CEO, John Fish, and Vice President of Marketing & Corporate Communications, Lori Shaffer, joined the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey for their annual “Day of Service.” Teaming up with the Food Bank of South Jersey, they helped sort and box food donations for families across the region. Together with other local volunteers, the group prepared over 2,000 pounds of food for community distribution.

For Restore First Health, this day represented more than volunteerism — it reflected our belief that wellness starts with access. Many of the patients we serve face barriers to proper nutrition, a key factor in wound healing and recovery. By supporting organizations that address food insecurity, we are strengthening the same communities we care for every day through our advanced in-home wound care program.

John’s participation underscores RFH’s commitment to patient-centered, community-connected care — leading by example in how we “serve beyond the bedside.” Lori’s involvement highlights the company’s growing focus on community partnerships and awareness-building efforts that connect our mission to local impact.

When we show up for our communities, we help close the gaps that affect our patients’ healing journeys.

As Restore First Health continues to expand across the nation, our values remain constant: Compassion. Communication. Collaboration. These aren’t just principles that guide our care — they guide how we show up for one another.

We’re proud to stand alongside organizations like the Food Bank of South Jersey and the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey, working together to bring health, hope, and healing to every community we serve.
