Regina Kay Phillips, MD, FAAPMR, brings over 30 years of experience in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and advanced wound care to her role as Medical Director for Restore First Health in Georgia.
She earned her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed her Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency at Emory University Hospitals. A board-certified physiatrist and Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (FAAPMR), she specializes in hyperbaric medicine, diabetic foot care, and complex wound management.
Before joining Restore First Health, Dr. Phillips served as Medical Director at Healogics, where she led multidisciplinary teams in specialized wound healing and hyperbaric therapy. She has extensive training in advanced wound care, hyperbaric medicine, bedside debridement techniques, innovative medical & emerging technologies, and wound vac management. She is also a dedicated mentor and educator, training the next generation of wound care providers.
Dr. Phillips is passionate about patient-centered care, collaboration, and care coordination. She works closely with home health agencies and healthcare teams to deliver advanced mobile wound care solutions, reducing hospital readmissions and accelerating healing for patients in the comfort of their homes.
