Melissa received her BSN from Armstrong Atlantic University and MSN from South University. Her nursing career began as an RN in 2010. She completed her master’s in nursing in 2020.

Melissa has a multi-faceted medical career in wound care, emergency medicine, diagnostic imaging, pain management and aesthetics. She has worked in a variety of settings including the emergency department, outpatient imaging, med spa, long-term and acute care.

With many years of experience in both acute and long-term wound care settings, Melissa is dedicated to helping patients heal with individualized care plans that focus on optimal healing. She works closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for her patients. She is an advocate for patient education and takes pride in empowering individuals to understand their conditions and engage in their own care, improving both quality of life and healing rates.

Melissa resides in the Savannah area. She enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with her family.
